Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

You know the Epstein Files are bad when the orange felon bombs Venezuela, murders their citizens and kidnaps their leader all to distract from his sex crimes with children.

This is what happens when you give a deranged criminal full power instead of sending him to prison.

It's not great that a student can turn in a bad essay but vaguely point to the Bible and religious beliefs as an excuse for not following the actual assignment and terrible writing. That's not what college is supposed to be.

The professor did nothing wrong but she was pulled off the course anyways.

The fact that this coming 9 days before the largest peaceful protest in modern American history is absolutely intentional. We will not back down. Trump and Miller can lie, smear, and threaten all they want. They will lose. No Kings, No Kings, No Kings. www.reuters.com/legal/govern...

Yesterday's Supreme Court decision endangers our communities and subjects people to immigration stops simply because of the color of their skin, occupation, or the language they speak.

This fight isn't over. Our right to live free from racial profiling is fundamental.

Obergefell v. Hodges made me believe in the whole "arc of history bends towards justice." In the 90s, I didn't think gay marriage would be legalized in my lifetime because homophobia was so deeply ingrained. We would have never gotten here without the decision and now it may be overturned.

This is how it looks outside. All these people want to testify but there isnt enough room/time. The people of Texas oppose gerrymandering.

I read Ken Kesey's 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘄 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗼𝗼'𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘀𝘁. I thought it was a nice story about power and systems of control; there are some passages throughout the book about women that made me feel icky though, especially with a certain line at the climax in Part IV (?). #booksky

I read Aldous Huxley's 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱. I found it a little boring until halfway through when John was introduced, so you can see why I acted like THAT (see quoted post) when I got to the last chapter. Despite its flaws prose-wise I thought its ideas & worldbuilding were interesting 🏝️🇮🇸. #booksky
