It’s so weird to listen to college students talk about their classes. I’m listening to someone talk about having to write an essay with their hands during class time and how stressful it was. That was par for the course when I was a student!

My oldest son does this thing where he walks back and forth with a toy and makes sound effects and it is probably the most overstimulating nightmare that I’ve ever experienced.

I found out last week that neither "Beowulf" nor "The Outsiders" are books that a lot of my coworkers (who grew up in Utah) read in middle/high school English classes. I'm totally shook by that information.
