What I said is that No Kings is much larger than the civil rights movement, and by the normal metric for "larger" - the number of participants - that is absolutely, incontestably true. It doesn't matter if that hurts your feelings or doesn't fit into your perception of US history. It's simply true.

ridiculous notion; its to, in theory, reorient their goals to again, theoretically, realign them towards social good. does this actually work? no. thats why, w/ the tax, you need unions to also force the redistribution of wealth that allows this accumulation. the major US “tax” issue is war spending
People always point out that taxing the super-wealthy wouldn't actually raise all that much revenue, but it's becoming clearer that the primary benefit is just taking away their money.
