Also the mosquito they used in Jurassic Park is actually an elephant mosquito which does not drink blood so that ruins the entire plot of the movie.

Was not particularly interested in seeing Wicked, and then my wife gave it a Media Studies framing and said it’s actually about how a gullible and ill-informed public is easy to manipulate with misinformation and I was all in, great movie, 10/10 so far.

My cat ran away for 12 hours. I panicked. I cried. I imagined the suffering I would experience for the next five years without him in my life. I went through several stages of grief. He turned up at my doorstep when I came home from work completely unaware of the devastation he caused. I love him.

When I was in high school, the guidance counselor used to speak really scornfully about easy electives like "underwater basket weaving" but I have contemplated this for 35 years, and I still think underwater basket weaving sounds really hard.
