I really wish I inhabited a universe in which the repeated re-reading of my work did not invariably lead me to absolutely loathe every single line in it. #amediting

One thing I think about now that I’m taking writing “seriously” is the necessity of marketing if I want to publish. It’s inevitable. But every example I see are cozy mysteries or bodice ripping romance or fantasy and I have no idea how to market around a story based largely on trauma.

Writing tips nobody talks about:

✏️ A wrist rest or an ergonomic keyboard is your best friend.
✏️ Good sitting posture IS important for prolonged writing sessions.
✏️ White pages strain eyes. You can make the page a muted color to avoid eye strain. (I use green or purple)
✏️ Stretch
