Despite global uncertainty, B.C.’s economy remains resilient with yr/yr increase of 36,100 jobs, including 27,400 more in the private sector.

We can’t control what the US President does, but we can defend B.C. workers and build a stronger, more independent economy.

B.C. holds 40% of federal priority projects worth billions. This is a vote of confidence in our role as the engine of Canada's new economy.

From new mines to clean energy projects, we’re moving forward investments that bring lasting prosperity and good jobs families can rely on.

Heading to Kamloops this morning to celebrate the expansion of the Highland Valley Copper mine.

This is a project of national significance that is going to provide thousands of well-paying jobs for British Columbians as our province becomes the economic engine of Canada.

If the federal govt wants to drive the Canadian economy, they only have to look west.

We can do more, we can do it faster, and we can do it the right way, and ensure we’re reflecting the values of all Canadians.
Major projects are underway in BC, and for continued prosperity, Canada must look west.

Very proud to participate in the celebration of Highland Valley Coppers expansion today. Truly a historic moment for our province.

BC is home to one of the largest tech ecosystems in Canada.

Had a great discussion w/ Min. @evansolomon.bsky.social & PS @taleeb.bsky.social on expanding BC innovation in life sciences, AI & quantum tech through investments that grow our economy, create jobs and reduce reliance on the U.S. market.

It’s that time of year again when Muslims in BC and around the world will gather for prayer and fasting.

The month of Ramadan is a time of reflection, charity, community, generosity and joy.

To everyone observing this sacred month, Ramadan Mubarak!

Black British Columbians have a legacy of leadership, accomplishments and community building that is as long as the story of our province.

That continues to this very day, with my friend MLA @georgeandersonbc.bsky.social who is continuing to write this story from his seat in the Legislature.

We are responding to the threat of tariffs by facing them together.

We are bringing together respected industry leaders from across agriculture to the table to make sure British Columbians have more access to affordable food grown close to home.

It’s heartwarming to see British Columbians coming together to support businesses at home.

We’re working with farmers and businesses to make more food grown close to home available year round.

Just look for that BuyBC logo!.

Today is #PinkShirtDay, a day to celebrate kindness & work together against bullying.

In 2007, two Nova Scotia high school students encouraged classmates to wear pink in support of a boy who had been bullied. This act of solidarity has become Canada’s official anti-bullying day.

Many cancer patients rely on blood products during treatment. If you're healthy, please consider donating blood regularly through Canadian Blood Services.
It's a small yet impactful way to support @gracealore.bsky.social and others facing cancer.
I am deeply saddened by the news that Grace has been diagnosed with cancer. She is an inspiration to me and to people right across BC. I know that her family, Rob, Eve and Asher will be wrapping her with love during this time.

We are all sending her strength and love during this time.

A 'Team Canada' response to Trump's tariffs doesn't mean that we agree on everything. It means we are united in standing up for Canadian jobs.

I won't stop pushing Ottawa for BC’s fair share – at the same time we’re united against this national threat. We are all on the same side.

Anyone who has lost a loved to the opioid crisis will tell you, no amount of money can bring them back or take away the pain. But we’re going to make big companies and bad actors face the consequences for the harm their products cause.

BC deserves the same benefits as other provinces. We will fight for fair treatment and rather than focus on a two-month holiday, we’re gonna deliver a $1,000/household middle-class tax cut, that will benefit families every year on a permanent basis. Because people need significant relief.
