i love when black haired characters have saturated highlights. black hair with purple highlights. black hair with red highlights. i also love when light haired characters have shadows where you would ordinarily put highlights. its like their hair is wet or has a translucent top layer

This is something that is unfortunately learned for most artists via experience but low priced comms typically generate more entitled or rude clients who expect far too much or more than what’s offered for less money. Price your art for what it’s worth, even if you think no one will buy it!
