24 days ago I stepped out onto my front stoop onto what I thought was water. It wasn’t. It was sheer ice and I tumbled nine steps to the sidewalk. One skillful surgeon reattached my food and ankle to my leg bones. I’ll be okay, but not for a long time. Be careful out there.
