If the Trump team is regularly discussing classified information in group chats, is this why Russia has been eating our lunch in Ukraine negotiations?

I think it's even worse than this, tbh. The point that I made in my post about Trumpian decision analysis is that there are very little boundaries about *who or what* can actually be an input into the policy planning process
i think the takeaway we should have for the idea that "staffs exist" is that they actually don't; the government is being run by a few hundred people under the tight leash of a few dozen people. this is because there is no constituency anywhere for the constellation of views held by administration.

Every single Democrat in Congress should be demanding the resignation of Waltz and Hegseth. Every single one.

This is a massive scandal. There should be a serious price to pay.

AND THERE IS ZERO DOWNSIDE FOR EVEN THE MOST SCAREDY-CAT CONGRESSPERSON.

Really key stuff here. DOGE flipped the Institute's security contractors - Inter-Con - against them by threatening to cancel all their security contracts across the federal government.

This is where DOGE's money meets up with guns and the lawyers are kicked to the side.

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

1. We won't know the cause of the airline accident until NTSB investigates.

2. The President posted a panicky accusation last night against the military. There was a contradictory official statement as well.

3. Why hasn't Hegseth made a statement?

Maybe cheap, maybe not. Completely fair for Dems to demand an investigation of whether Trump’s lawless, destabilizing blitz against the civil service, and his cronification of the Pentagon contributed to the accident in any way. Completely.
Sounds like a cheap hit. But maybe it wasn’t a great time to freeze hiring of new air traffic controllers for no reason why there was already a shortage. I’m not sure this is a stretch.

The President is asking rhetorical questions about what federal government aircraft was doing, as if there's someone else who is supposed to have the answer. This is his responsibility. If he doesn't even know the answers, it's because he and his unqualified appointees are incompetent.
“Commander in Chief” jumps to throw military crew under the bus before any details are known. Coward.

We no longer have a leader in the White House but a conman who’s #1 goal is always to dodge responsibility.

Next time a R or D says “respect the office” remind them the President himself doesn’t.

It's not unreasonable to want answers immediately from the President about why an Army helicopter was in front of a commercial jetliner, and to demand concrete steps to prevent it from happening again.

Buck stops with him. Or is he too busy with golf, EOs, and fake bribery settlements?

haul musk before congress by next week and ask him exactly what they sent, why, whom they sent it to, who authorized it, and how many FAA employees accepted. drag vought’s ass back up and ask him the fucking same.
start with how many FAA employees they sent this to
Musk's people did the "Let's just do it and be legends" thing with those mass resignation emails without telling anyone. Or Trump's people just want everyone to think that, so Musk gets the, uh, credit for how it all went down www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...
