Oh we need more indoor heated pools for sure
Philly’s public pools are open for eight weeks, max. But Charisma Presley dreams of a city where families have access to public pools long past Labor Day, where they can swim for free year-round.
This group is trying to get Philly families more year-round swimming options
Now that Labor Day is over, there's no place for the vast majority of Philadelphians to swim for free year round, despite the city's strong history of swimming programs.

Pennsylvania / Philadelphia should seriously look into an anti-congestion toll on the Schuylkill Expressway.

The Federal Highway Admin. found that on average over half of peak congestion hour drivers are not commuting.

A toll would shorten commutes and could fund regional rail as an alternative.

They are coming after Obergefell next. Y'all aren't paying attention.

Same-sex marriage in Virginia would be banned without Obergefell
It's one of 32 states where marriage equality access would change if the Supreme Court ruling were overturned.

If your housing politics match Project 2025's objectives word for word, then so do your immigration politics -- regardless of how much you protest and make signs to the contrary.

Immigrants need homes to live in, and you are blocking homes, therefore you are anti-immigrant.

Let’s be clear: ICE injured and detained the president of SEIU California for peacefully observing.

ICE picked the wrong side. The wrong state. The wrong person. and the wrong union. David Huerta stood up. And now 750,000 SEIU workers are standing up behind him.

Wages, adjusted for inflation and including housing, are higher than they've ever been. This includes the bottom 10th percentile, which are up by 40% since 1973.

They're still too low. But "Americans are poorer than they used to be" is simply not true.

It's No Coincidence. Public health funding is being slashed. Vaccine misinformation is spreading. Fewer people are getting vaccinated.

This is the result.
