It's easy for Danny Kruger to talk about massive cuts to the civil service, because he's an entitled prick who's never had a proper job and has zero idea what government workers actually do. Everything seems easy when you know fuck all.

Cyberpunk features a gag news article about an AI author winning the Pulitzer.

Funny joke. Haha. How silly... 😕

Guaranteed 3 of those founders only read sports biographies and "How to be an Alpha" books, while the 4th sticks to L. Ron Hubbard.
Why? Who is this meant to be good for? Nobody wants your shit AI books, never mind 8,000 in a year. Just a terrible idea and a horrible road the publishing industry is heading down.

It is foolish to say that everyone at the Unite Our Kingdom protest was far right. Some were just racists, others were simply thick twats, many were bored football hooligans and thousands more were gullible fuckwits.

After 2 decades of chronic mismanagement from the @conservatives.bsky.social, it was hoped @teamlabouruk.bsky.social would at least restore a *semblance* of sense and stability.

Nigel Farage posts a video from 2015 in Greece and claims it is the UK today. What more proof is needed that this lying, grifting sack of shit will do anything to incite hatred and division?

Really, @netflix.com? The @jimmyfallon.bsky.social remake of Taxi is "Worth the wait"?

I'd be more excited waiting to have my wisdom teeth pulled during an anesthetic shortage.

It would certainly be less painful.

Remarkably, the Mortal Kombat II movie actually looks good. I was skeptical about Karl Urban as Johnny Cage - underappreciated actor though his is, he seemed an odd fit - but at least as far as the trailer is concerned, I'm sold.

Imagining if, instead of Superman, it had been Kara who'd found out Lex had kidnapped Krypto.

Wouldn't be a desk smashing against that window...

Superman is an interesting film, and I can see why it is, and is going to continue to be, so divisive.

I enjoyed it overall: Corenswet's solid, the supporting cast are all great - the "Justice Gang" in particular is fantastic...

#Ironheart is far from the disaster the usual bad-faith, click-bait "critics" are claiming it to be, but it is not good.

The pacing's awkward, the plot's full of holes (the biggest stemming from Wakanda Forever), its ideas are half-baked and, DEAR LORD, the characters... 🙄

America elected a felonious, rapist fraudster as their president. Is anyone really shocked a dozen fuckwits would acquit this worthless slime?

Yes, there is actual footage of him beating up the woman accusing him of violent coercion, but we apparently don't live in a world where that's enough.
