I am all in on saving 500% or 1,500% on things.

Also making drugs cheaper by making cars more expensive is brilliant.

By now, we've all seen the video of Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) being forcibly removed and handcuffed for asking a question during Kristi Noem's press conference.

But what Noem said just moments before the video was taken is "classic authoritarian red-baiting," points out @davidcorn.bsky.social.

In an extraordinary on-air rebuke, one of the top journalists at “60 Minutes” directly criticized the program’s parent company, Paramount, in the final moments of its Sunday night CBS telecast, its first episode since the program’s executive producer, Bill Owens, announced his intention to resign.
‘60 Minutes’ Rebukes Paramount On-Air Over Executive Producer’s Exit

Of course this is a severe breach of security.
The Post reviewed hundreds of cases involving contractors alleged to have used unauthorized technology or mishandled sensitive government information — the same types of security violations that experts have said Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth may have committed.
Hegseth defended his Signal leak. Others lost clearances for similar lapses.
Records show defense contractors lost security clearances when they had no intention to leak information or were using unauthorized technology for convenience.

GRIFT...it is a beautiful word
Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

ELECTION RESULT: A team of city council members in Rolla, Missouri, have been pushing anti-LGTB policies, including a ban on drag shows and book censorship.

Voters just ousted all three of these city councilors who were running for reelection, backing candidates backed by a local LGBT group.

I love the subway for its convenience. It is a lot cheaper than driving, and safer than facing traffic.
I’m a big man who rides the subway every night because I’m not a terrified hysterical neurotic
Sean Duffy: "The truth is, transit across America is dangerous. And these liberals -- liberal mayors -- they want everybody out of cars and into trains but they made the trains unsafe so nobody really wants to ride them ... even big men don't want to ride the subway at those times of night."

I fully understand the Trump logic for tariffs on trade with an island with no human population. The penguins are well dressed and likely will not retaliate with trade sanctions of their own. Downside however is that Trump will not see a $ in tax revenue from these birds.
President Trump announced far-reaching tariffs on most of the United States’ trading partners.

So far-reaching, in fact, that they include a remote Antarctic island group inhabited mainly by penguins — and a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean known for its polar bears. wapo.st/4lfaitV

11/ The tariffs aren’t economic policy. They are political weapons.

But as long as we see this clearly, we can stop him. Public mobilization is working. Today, a few Republicans joined Democrats to vote against one set of tariffs.

The people still have the power.

Another WTF comment. Musk is not fit for either public service or running a business.
Elon Musk’s latest transphobic tirade came on the same day that his estranged trans daughter was profiled in Teen Vogue.

“Rather than cosplaying as a medical professional and spreading misinformation, perhaps Elon Musk should focus on his rapidly deteriorating business portfolio."
Tesla's in trouble. Elon blames...trans people?
Musk and his acolytes blame the massive protests on transgender people's supposed penchant for violence.
