Reform UK have repeatedly said that Kent is their "flagship" council and "the shop window" for how they intend to run things.

When they are exposed as planning to slash social care for old people, in order to hire their cronies as advisors at £150k a pop, I think people should believe them. ~AA

Laura K is like an attack dog this morning. Rachel Reeves is being treated like she is a murderer. The bias is out of control.

This is Lord Rothermere the owner of the Daily Mail.

He lives in a massive mansion in the English countryside, but he pays no tax here because he identifies as French.

While the Daily Mail is registered in Bermuda and pays no tax anywhere.

That is his ‘Patriotism’.

Fascinating post.
Last month I did a little experiment.

I wanted to see how the exact same post would perform on both X (Twitter) and Bluesky.

The results were...interesting...

The absolute state of this

A foul collection of renowned dickheads gaming how to win, who to kick out, who to make PM

Is the country that tragically stupid? No
Should Labour join in their ugliness to “neutralise the threat”? No

Let’s get this toxic bullshit in the bin and do better as a country.

One source told the Guardian that the US had “completely stopped” providing intelligence, including to Ukraine’s military and domestic security agencies. They said this would have a “very bad impact” on the fight against Russia.

As horrors of the US continue we see journalists debating Starmer's choices and discussing alternatives.
Food inflation is up and retail associations are unchallenged about the cause being increased NI. Tesco profit close to £3 billion, Sainsbury & Asda profits around £1 bn. Inevitable inflation?

A dreadful moment for Ukraine, for the free world, for the legacy of an America that once stood for the principles of the Atlantic Charter.

I am tired of the stupid pretence of the essential need for balance (do your bloody jobs and print what's true). Also hate the endless attempt to get a 3 second quote in the Gotcha interviewing that shames decent journalists. A once proud institution destroyed by biased appointments. 😥

Seeing Kemi Badenoch respond to matters of unprecedented geopolitical importance reminds me of an anxiety dream I used to have about agreeing to play drums at a charity concert with the Rolling Stones & remembering on the night that I can’t play the drums.

So increasing the minimum wage to a livable wage is “socialism”?

But Amazon union busting, keeping wages low, and forcing workers onto public assistance while its founder increases his net worth by $7.9M an hour is the "free market"?

Perhaps this could be a WaPo opinion piece.

Now Michelle Mone is desperately bringing it up.

I'm so over the BBC News.
There is an interest rate cut so apparently (in the interest of balance) we have to report how this is damaging a nine week old baby who can't get a decent return on it's savings.
What the absolute fuck!
DOOM, DOOM.
