Happy Valentine's Day! This year I made a pitcher plant that prints in vase mode. #3Dprinting

$7 USD, so that hopefully after Prusa and Stripe take their cut I get $5: www.printables.com/model/118934... It's also available to my club subscribers.

Yesterday I did a proof of concept on adding tiny mirrors to a 3d print.

I think the eyes need to be a liiittle bit smaller to hide the edges, and i want to try it upside down so the face is the shiny flat side. I also want to try adding uv resin

Fabric samples! I ordered samples of various tulles and meshes to try 3D printing on.

There's a lot of variety in mesh size and drape/stiffness in these, so I can experiment and decide which would work better for different ideas.

First test of the full 3d printable movable type block! #3dprinting

I repeated the (block) print five times, this one came out the best.

I'm having some height discrepancies in the type pieces themselves. I'll have to take a look later once it's dried off from washing.

Zine-sized movable type printing block progress: I realized it needs to have a per-line closure so I've been working on figuring that out.

This works, but the pressure from the screws when screwed too tight makes the thin bottom part start to buckle, so I need to test thicknesses.
