And the worst part is. Despite the changing room situation being proved legal in court. She is still banned. Thanks to pressure from transphobic pressure groups during the trail
#JusticeForDrBeth
From someone I know on FB;

About Dr Beth Upton, who is the REAL victim here, although you wouldn't know that from looking at the media;

-the victim of transphobic court procedures,

-the victim of a viciously transphobic media
and
-the victim of a transphobic hate campaign.

They could change the law, that would be the right thing. The GRC has a tool built in to easily amend laws

I know they won't do that, but they could at least not lie about the ruling. Every tribunal case so far has agreed, no mandated exclusion and inclusion can be proportion.

Liebor at it again
Fucking state of this. Acting like they are completely powerless to do anything since the SC judgement.

Any new way of including people without amending the Equality Act will just be all-new segregation, now with added ‘dignity and respect’.

Harassment, 'untruthful' evidence, and 'unusual' legal questions. Our reporter Xander Elliards looks at nine points from the Sandie Peggie ruling that the rest of the media has left out

TEN sends open letter to Women's Institute over its new Gender Critical Ideology. It mentions Peggie v Fife (eg the findings that Dr Upton was the one harassed, it was correct not to exclude her, that a trans woman poses no more threat to a cis woman than a cis woman does). Attached.

We were promised a draft bill on banning conversion practices by the end of 2025 and it's mid-December with no movement.

This government *must* commit to a trans-inclusive ban, especially following a report by the BBC into practices fifty years ago.

The British press are trying really hard to gaslight people about this case.

The BBC implying "Big changes for employers" when their existing practice for completely legal and held up in court. Reminder when reading ANY news, the NHS only failed on procedural grounds

Why Sandie Peggie ruling could lead to big changes for employers
A tribunal has ruled that the nurse was harassed by NHS Fife - but dismissed all other claims in her case.

1/2 NOT A LAWYER
Sandy Peggy decision out! It reads pretty good to me, allowing trans women was not discrimination against Peggy, it seems like the count that was held was due to the NHS not following complaints practice and scheduling them at the same time.

We live in the pre-documentary era of being trans in the UK. There is so much corruption that I sound like a conspiracy theorist every time I talk to my MP but the information is fragmented and revealed by FOIs. I live for the time in a decade from now where a documentary bring this to light.

I had a fun shower thought for people!
Y'all got any examples of things that caused you dysphoria that would only really be a thing based on where you are, specific cultural norms or tradition? I thought of some specific ones for me that only really come up because I'm Scottish.

Fun little website we're happy to signal boost, where you need to determine if a headline is homophobia from the last century, or modern day transphobia. I (@melissa.green) scored 70%.
