So the UK Met Office is inviting people to suggest up to 5 names for storms.

And apparently lots of people have been suggesting "Storm Bigoil", along with BP, Equinor, Exxon & Shell...

This is obviously appalling & definitely not to be emulated via this link: www.metoffice.gov.uk/forms/name-o...

The SNP have just announced that they will continue to fund Israel's arms dealers here in Scotland.

Since 2022 Scottish Enterprise has given arms firms linked to Israel nearly £3 million. Tax payers money should not be given to those profiting from genocide.
NEW: Arms firms supplying Israel have continued to receive taxpayers’ money from the Scottish Government despite allegations of genocide in Gaza, prompting criticism its human rights due diligence is “not fit for purpose”. bit.ly/44iuWSr

Donald Trump has just been invited for a second UK state visit.

The Primer Minister has handed Trump a letter from the King welcoming him back, despite all the trade war threats, ties with Putin and slashing global aid.

This is completely unprecedented. We must show how unwelcome Trump really is.

Britain's two-tier justice system:

Environmental activists who merely discuss non-violent protest tactics to highlight climate breakdown get smashed with an iron fist.

Meanwhile landowners who repeatedly cause disruption, motivated by their own entitlement and greed, suffer no consequences.
