Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.
The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

As a retiring but still sitting member of the House, MTG has the opportunity to read into the public record documents that otherwise could not be released... and would be protected by the constitution's speech or debate clause from prosecution.

I largely agree, EXCEPT.
If America were suddenly remade in the ways I would want, if we had a robust safety net and vibrant communities and fast, efficient transpo and solid environmental protections etc...

The Paradox of Tolerance is easier to understand as a social contract.
MAGA has shattered the social contract and thus no longer entitled to its protection.
Losing your farm because of tariffs? Too bad.

After the insurrection, there were bipartisan J6 hearings held, and two of the most influential leaders were Republicans. ALL of the witnesses were Republicans. People stood up. People defected. Nothing happened. He held a 4 year shadow presidency & the movement strengthened.
