In NE Seattle, Rivera won by 235 votes, causing the council to swing NIMBY, causing housing to be delayed in Seattle and could cost us in WA, because of lack of new residents, an electoral vote in the next election. Remind me again why voting doesn't matter.

The autonormative/car-first/car-only mind in seattle is so strong. So rather than putting in safe bike infrastructure now, which noone opposes, let's wait until we get FIFA funding to add a new light - no turn from yesler onto first. Why wait? "concerns".

This is so sad. Kid gets hit on Lk WA boulevard because Harrell listened to drivers instead of safety, p[olice decides to treat it like a car hitting a trashcan. 100% fail all the way from police to council to Mayor. All of these assholes need to get voted out.

And another couple of days of no consumption. Baked bread for lunch, had leftovers for breakfast, leftovers for dinner, rode my bike to work.

Transit experience in seattle when there is 0.01 inch of snow: lightrail disrupted, bus not running, commute from Ravenna to g-town 2 hours. Driving: 20 minutes.

I am reading a lot of people upset about the RTO Amazon policy and how bad traffic is in Seattle as a result.

You should be angry at this council that continues to invest in the status quo of car dependency, blocking alternate ways to get to work safely and quickly and housing near where you work.

I had a fully non consumer daub yesterday. I made breakfast, rose my bike to work, ate my lunch which was bread I baked myself, ride home, made dinner, lifted weights in my basement and worked on an engine. 0 money spent, nothing purchased!! Life goals. #lowimpact #seattle #dontconsune.
