DS9 'Past Tense' drops truth bombs on inequality (2024 SF riots). Gabriel Bell: 'Do you think they'll just let you walk out of Sanctuary? No, but I know there will be a day when we don't need places like this.'

So I have heard but have not verified that Beto O’Rourke is coming to Indianapolis on Sunday? I hear he’s going to do a town hall since my senators and representatives here in Indiana won’t.

Thanks for your vote of confidence…I guess?!

Unlike you, I’d actually be focused on the American people—the issues they’re facing, making sure folks have healthcare, and consulting with Congress before dropping bombs on another country.

Millions of pounds of food are thrown out every year by pet suppliers. I’m reaching across the aisle to help deliver food to hungry shelter dogs and cats.

Congress, let's stop being dogmatic and pass the bipartisan BARK Act!
Silver Spring woman, Raskin promote bill to allow donations of pet food past sell-by date to animal shelters
The BARK Act, promoted by Jamie Raskin and a Silver Spring woman, would eliminate liability for stores that donate the pet food.

Notes for this morning:
*Musk is right that the budget bill is horrible, but not about the reasons.
*I’m glad Musk is fighting the despicable President, but he remains despicable himself.
*ICE is still unhinged and raiding communities.
*Take care of yourselves and your fellow humans.

Tau has always seemed like a more viable target than amyloid to me. Very cool work!

Another thing about p181 is that it shows up in the bloodstream, and it distinguishes Alzheimer's from other tauopathic diseases very accurately. Noninvasive detection is possible!

May this vaccine denying administration not cut the work on this…
GOOD NEWS! Researchers at the University of New Mexico have developed a tau-targeting vaccine that could help PREVENT the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. In preclinical trials, the vaccine REDUCED pTau, IMPROVED memory AND motor function, and REDUCED brain atrophy with NO major side effects. 🧪🧵⬇️
