USGS Folks can’t be at #LPSC2025 and someone hung up a shirt with a flower as a memorial of sorts. We’re already feeling the loss of their presence and a bunch of other members of the community who can’t be here for a myriad of reasons.

Bummed that I won't get to go to #LPSC this year because all domestic travel from my Org was canceled. Hopefully, if i still have a job by then, I'll get to come back in 4 years. 😔

As these layoffs roll through, we can defend NASA without lionizing it. I'm not a unique genius. I'm not the best at what I do! I work really hard and so do a lot of other folks at NASA, and we deserve to be treated with respect as workers, not because what we do is uniquely brilliant or important.

I need a vacation, but I haven't taken one in years because I'm worried about going by myself. I used to do it in New Zealand, but that just felt safer.
