Got a new iMac just over a year ago. Been writing a novel on it. Last week it had a catastrophic hard drive failure. Turns out NOTHING was uploading either to cloud or Dropbox (this was news to me) and I have lost the novel. Entirely. Trying very hard not to have an epoch ending emotional eclipse.
