Heads up, all: Texas is now arguing SCOTUS should shut down Biden administration programs *on the merits* via the shadow docket.
UPDATE: Texas has already gone back to the Supreme Court in the student loan cases — with Texas SG Aaron Nielson asking the court to end the SAVE Plan permanently on the shadow docket via a "summary" order. www.lawdork.com/i/147559088/...
![Texas Solicitor General Aaron Nielson filed a letter with the Supreme Court on Saturday, noting that the Eighth Circuit’s injunction “negate[s] the need for emergency relief from this Court so long as that injunction remains in effect,” but still seeking Supreme Court review — either by having the court “summarily order the district court to vacate the SAVE Plan“ or setting the case for argument — based on the application already filed.
When Nielson asks for SCOTUS to “summarily order the district court to vacate the SAVE Plan,” it’s important to understand what that means. Neither the district court did nor the Tenth Circuit vacated the SAVE Plan. No court has done so.

Israeli forces killed at least 210 people in central Gaza on Saturday, officials said. Al-Aqsa Hospital spokesman Khalil al-Degran in Deir al-Balah said 94 bodies were counted there. Al-Awda Hospital administrative director Marwan Abu Nasser said 116 were counted at his medical center in Nuseirat.
