Godot 4.4 is here! 🎉

Some of my favorite features are typed Dictionaries, UIDs and animation markers!

Curve domains outside of [0, 1] and 2D shader instance uniforms are also very useful.

Choosing the game idea has been tricky because we want one that:

▫️Has market potential
▫️Takes less than a year
▫️We are excited to play

The last one allows us to have a clear vision of what makes the game ✨ fun ✨

We have been through 8+ ideas so far 🙃

If you like to click on 2D elements to select them in #Godot editor, but have many overlapping elements, you can enable showing a list of elements you clicked on and pick one to select!

1 thing that confused me when learning #gdscript was the different ways to instantiate objects.

To create a new instance of:

🔹A packed scene, use instantiate().
🔹A custom script or a node, use new().
🔹Built-in types like Vector2, use the direct initialization syntax: Vector2(1, 2)
