The cost-saving claims don’t hold up. Every dollar in NIH research grants generates $2.46 in economic activity, research shows—a total of $93 billion in 2023 alone.

“It’s incredible to me that we would give up this thing that has such obvious societal benefits,” says biologist Mark Peifer.
America will pay dearly for the NIH’s mindless war on wokeness and DEI
Colleges, businesses, patients, students, workers, and US excellence will all suffer—and for what?

Don't let Trump flood your zone. Stay focused. Keep your eye on what this corrupt regime is really doing — looting the government to line their own pockets with massive tax cuts and the ability to steer more federal contracts their way.

The CFPB is the financial watchdog for the American people.

The agency has returned $20B to the victims of financial fraud and abuse since 2011.

Trump fired its director and put his treasury secretary, a Wall Street hedge fund manager, in charge.

Guess what happened next...

Unlike all those garbage “we fought a revolution over tariffs” takes, this one is essentially true.

The last time the U.S. picked a trade fight with Britain, it turned into a war with Canada… and ended with the White House on fire.

Let’s see how this one plays out.
The last time we went to war with Canada they came down here and burned down the White House.

225 years later, the Founders’ real patrimony is doubling down on who doesn’t belong in their America. That’s why Trump can still reach back to a law from 1798 and use it to wreck civil rights like it’s the 18th century, or even the 1940s, again.

And he runs from the accountability. This is the issue with many historians: you’re just there to swallow their distortions. Not question them. Not challenge them. Boy, they don’t like that, even when you’re as wrong as this guy.
Here we go. Hold people accountable for getting it wrong and, right or left, they get petty. Over here in the public history of the American Revolution, we’ll stick getting the past right first, and then think about achieving modern politics goals with it.

“Yet he knew he wasn’t above the law”. “…surely those folks knew the score.” Turning that moment, and his subsequent treatment of Ona Judge, into a positive case study takes some real manipulation of the historical context. But that’s precisely what these people do.

it's not actually clear what "optimism" means in this poll.
It's common to report optimism before a change in power but the young people excited for Trump should embarrass Democrats.

TikTok really was the only platform that rewarded not being made up or polished.

It actually preferenced messy.
I saw more people in intimate or casual moments, rumpled, on bad hair days, with zit patches, than anywhere before. And I also learned more about makeup than I ever had. The recentering of presentation as expression & play, not obligation. But maybe that’s what I told it I wanted to see.

Incredible how thoroughly Democrats got played here. Spent four years following through on a Trump executive order, pissed away any shot at building a real youth coalition for 2024 by alienating literally every teenager in America, lost the election, and now Trump gets to "save" TikTok. Clown shit.
In a new post from the official TikTok account, CEO Shou Chew thanked Trump for his efforts to keep TikTok available in the U.S. He characterized Trump's stance as a pro-free speech effort and touted Trump's own success on TikTok
