![One person in the dataset that 404 Media reached confirmed they were a Tesla owner. They said they bought the vehicle in 2013 “before we had any inkling that Elon Musk was a horrifying person doing incredible amounts of harm to so many people. I stand for basically everything he's against. Same with Trump.” The person said two weeks ago they started the process of finding a non-profit that aligns with their values to give the Tesla to. 404 Media granted the person anonymity to speak openly about being included on the site.
They said they were “very worried" about being included on the site. “I lived through GamerGate and know how scary it is for women in particular to be [doxed]. I understand that the website is anti-Elon, as am I, but I fear that this type of website and in particular, the presence of my full name and home address can be a physical threat to me and my family,” they said.
“I can imagine the purpose is to harass and threaten perceived supporters of Elon, which I emphatically am not.
