No one other than Trump could have sabotaged American soft power and economy from within with such mass support. MAGA nuts cheering suspension of foreign student visas don’t know that foreign students subsidize American students.

Just as it did during the rise of the Nazis a century ago, the New York Times is twisting itself in knots to avoid calling fascists fascists. Germany’s AfD is not a “party that downplays Nazis.” It’s a neo-Nazi party.

Europe's leaders, like Canada's and Japan's, hitched careers and politics to the US as its cheerleaders/followers. With the US empire and economy caught in declines, G7 and NATO explode. Members now on their own, desperate. Sauve qui peut!

The degree of hate & personality cult that has seeped within India’s middle class is frightening. It is pulsating with rage, anger & hate. A country at war with its past & a state which has declared war on its own people and the people cheering that very war in name of nationalism.

Kamala Harris’ fans with their “Trump is going to be worse for Palestine” should go throw themselves in a dumpster & never talk politics again. It was a genocide that sustained because of the cowardice & complicity of the Democrats. They deserve every trouncing they get.

The MAGA crowd vs the Trump supporting technocrats once again reveals the fundamental contradictions at the heart of neoliberalism. Identity politics riddled with cultural rhetoric is always fractured by class contradictions.
December 29, 2024 at 5:52 AM
Apparently, American liberals moved here to create an echo chamber where all of them can convince each other that Kamala lost because she was a black woman & because white Christian Nationalism is on the rise, &
not because she was a pathetic candidate who had nothing to offer.

India’s opposition will keep failing until it provides a radical, empowering vision to the working class majority of whom are lower castes. As long as it tries to cater to the same social coalition that supports the BJP, it’s bound to fail. Election results after election results have proved that.
November 23, 2024 at 11:55 AM
India’s political analysts talk of nothing but secularism vs communalism, caste, & fascism. They have completely eschewed class analysis from their understanding of the BJP. That “sells” in their elite circles & promotes fear which keeps the grants coming but their analysis only helps the BJP.

Parasitic genocide-enabling billionaire hindutva fascist owner of the Haifa Port, and owner of israel-supplying drone factory in Hyderabad, as well as owner of Israel-supplying deep sea port Mundra, Indian Groucho Marx lookalike Gautam Adani gets indicted. We love to see it 🥰

Marxist thought & theory in India has much become hostage to its archaic & increasingly irrelevant parliamentary left & has thus become static. Needs some radical rethinking to counter Hindutva.

So far I am pretty glad that the Hindutva types haven’t infested this platform. Major reason why Twitter became toxic af was because of “Hindu Nationalists”.

It’s not that America isn’t ready for a woman Prez. It’s just that Hilary Clinton & Kamala Harris were militarist neoliberal shills who had nothing to offer to the working class. “Democracy is on the ballot” means nothing to people without food, housing & healthcare.

Now that Musk & Trump would be rulers, finally America is degenerating into a kleptocracy from a plutocracy. Or is it a kleptocracy degenerating into a plutocracy. A question for American political scientists to ponder if they can get themselves away from “saving democracy” in other countries.
