The passport and visa system, the entire concept of immigration controls and nationality is a crime against humanity and should be abolished and rethought. It's one of the world's greatest generators of misery and death.

Yes! They added it in a patch after launch, probably why you didn't know about it. Absolutely give it another shot, the world building and visual design is *well* worth it.
