Nothing happening at TAMU is required by law. This is self-inflicted, willful overcompliance by a board and administration in fealty to Abbott and Trump.
Our philosophy department continues to grow and produce great work....and the university continues to be absolute shit

I have nothing but deep vibes here, but the people I trust least to tell us anything interesting about the concepts of secularity or religiosity (or any related term) are scholars in religious studies who approach these as anything but concepts related to deeper philosophical questions

Int law prohibits bombing countries for the sake of democracy. FOR VERY GOOD REASON. It tends not to work.
