Also this is should be out soon with the Inter-American Journal of Philosophy if you are interested in Dussel and the philosophy of liberation. Haven't been on here or twitter in a minute so figured might as well post www.academia.edu/112002426/Na...
Narration and Alterity: Metaphilosophy & Weak Historicism in Dussel
In this paper, I identify and explicate the overarching metaphilosophy of the Argentine-Mexican philosopher Enrique Dussel. I do so to draw attention to the core philosophical and narratological moves...

from what i’m seeing, it appears corporate press is treating trump’s takeover of greenland as an inevitability rather than the fever dream of a dictator

Nothing happening at TAMU is required by law. This is self-inflicted, willful overcompliance by a board and administration in fealty to Abbott and Trump.

I have nothing but deep vibes here, but the people I trust least to tell us anything interesting about the concepts of secularity or religiosity (or any related term) are scholars in religious studies who approach these as anything but concepts related to deeper philosophical questions

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

I fear we are going to have to say this a lot again:

Int law prohibits bombing countries for the sake of democracy. FOR VERY GOOD REASON. It tends not to work.

Attacking a country because its leader lacks legitimacy - whether as pretext or sincerely held rationale - is still just an aggression.
Remember that there is a legitimately elected president of Venezuela: Edmundo Gonzalez. He won the election in 2024.
