It's something when the a tranche of Epstein files are released to distract from MN.

Of course he does. Is this a joke? He defended the guy who killed Good. He’s told multiple people that he thinks protesters should be attacked. He told people at a rally to rough someone up. He’s said nothing as ICE has hurt people for months.

He doesn’t get to walk away from this now.
Leavitt: "Nobody in the White House, including President Trump, wants to see people getting hurt or killed in America's streets. This includes Renee Good, Alex Pretti, the brave men and women of law enforcement, and the many Americans who have been victimized by illegal alien criminals"

I saw a post in all caps saying "RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES NOW."

If that doesn't do it, nothing will.

I asked my cab driver in Davos for his thoughts about NATO, Greenland, Venezuela, and ICE. He said he'd already gone on the record with David Brooks, whom he'd driven from the airport an hour earlier.

Congress needs to appoint a special prosecutor, independent of the Justice Department, fully empowered to investigate the death of Renee Nicole Good and other matters related to ICE, bring charges if warranted by the facts, and prosecute those charges.

ICE shootings have suddenly increased. They all follow the same pattern. The increase is sudden country-wide.

This change is news beyond the individual shootings themselves.

I think the Greenland threat is a troll. I think.

But it would sure be nice for some senators and GOP house members to speak up now and make it clear that an attack on a nato ally would lead to removal from office

An analogue I’ve noticed between fundamentalist scriptural exegesis and jurispudential originalism as actually practiced in the wild: Both enable a kind of ventriloquism by assuming univocality in the texts they purport to interpret.

NB: When I, a professor of law, profess that an act is unlawful, I am not doing it to inform the lawbreaker, but rather to inform you, the reader.

So the question “what, like you think he cares?” is inapposite. The question is whether *you* care. I think you should, which is why I bother.
