Young student nothing special :)
I don’t know why I expected anything better than what we got.

May I ask where was the official Opposition Leader for this debate?

When people like Dutton talk about “cultural diversity” or DEI jobs they’re essentially just denigrating non-white people.
It’s straight racism and journalists need to call it out.

Dutton says cultural diversity jobs do nothing to help Australians
During an impassioned speech on Friday, Opposition Leader Peter Dutton pledged, if elected, to slash the public sector – and one area in particular.

Independents and minor parties getting 20% of primaries in the latest polling. Labor's looks dire and is now down to 26.9. Coalition just under 40% - that's several parties in one, Liberal, National, Country Liberal and Liberal National Party of Queensland.

Australia has a federal election looming in 2025.

All sides of politics will call Education, Healthcare, Public Housing ‘costs’.

They are NOT, they are INVESTMENTS.

Change the rhetoric.
Call the them out.

I was looking through the current registrations and deregistrations on the AEC's website, and have made a very quick list of what the party list would look like if the 2025 Federal Election was held today. As you can see, such an election would have 27 parties rather than 2022's 32.

Fellow Aussies. An #Auspol discussion:
I’m calling for all progressives in Australia (Labor, Greens, Independents) to put aside differences and work together to keep the fascist scourge from creeping into our way of life, and in particular our parliament. What are your thoughts? What can we do?
November 12, 2024 at 4:35 AM
Have us as Australians ever thought that we don’t actually have to decide between the two major parties (LNP/Lab) and can select from a variety around 28? Not even including the Teals and Independents.

I feel coming this election we should probably do that. Idk
