Trump is trying to spin German election into what he wanted. It's not. Trump, Vance and Musk wanted the Far right AfD party to win. They didn't. The new incoming German Chancellor just last week slammed Vance for praising the Afd party. The US is even more isolated. www.reuters.com/world/europe...
German opposition leader joins rebuke of Vance criticism
German conservative opposition leader Friedrich Merz on Saturday joined his domestic political rivals in condemning U.S. Vice President JD Vance's attack on Europe's stance toward hate speech and the far right.

Ultimately, denying women the right to vote or even voice a differing opinion is nothing new among Christian patriarchs. Their churches treat disempowering women as foundational theology.
The Christian Nationalist Plot to Disenfranchise Women Voters
The SAVE Act, which purports to fend off the phantasmal threat of voter fraud, would throw millions of women off the voting rolls.

Senator Brian Schatz is correct -
"If you want to change an agency, introduce a bill and pass a law. You cannot wave away an agency that you don't like or that you disagree with by executive order, or by literally storming into the building and taking over the servers." #USAID

Democrats—come out swinging today!

Senator Chris Murphy: "This is a constitutional crisis that we are in today. Let's call it what it is.”

“The people get to decide how we defend the United States of America and how their tax payer money is spent, NOT ELON MUSK!”

NEW: Someone at IRS just told me they were informed that if they accepted the Fork in the Road deferred resignation, they'd still have to work through May 15th because it's filing season.

So Musk lied. And what about filing season 2026? Are they just gonna cross that bridge when they come to it?

Opinion | Time caught up with Biden. It will also prove him right.
Biden inherited a mess. He leaves the U.S. in far better shape, at home and abroad.

CNN is hopelessly broken.

1. This "expansion" would require military invasions of several allies in violation of international law.
2. It would violate several treaties.
3. The Louisiana Purchase was the sale of land by a colonial power (France). These are sovereign nations.
