Chasten and I are relieved that Governor Shapiro and his family are safe. While we wait to learn more, this much is clear: the targeting of a public official and his family - especially a prominent Jewish official on a major Jewish holiday - is unconscionable and has no place in our country.

I canceled my actblue account today. I’m sick of getting fundraising texts. I gave 100’s of $’s to state and national candidates last year. I want to see the dems fight back. I will make calls to our rep and senators but they are a lost cause in AR. I’m afraid to protest here now, it feels unsafe.
