Zohran walking into the Oval Office, focusing on his key policy platforms, and coming away with an unqualified win over Trump really puts into relief how bad the Democratic leadership is that it has been repeatedly rendered totally impotent and made to look like bumbling cowards by the Donald.

Lots of people in a Reddit thread criticizing the REM de l'Est for “competing” with the Green Line.

“Why couldn’t they have just funnelled passengers onto the Green Line?”

Because that would be a worse service requiring a transfer to get downtown!

As part of the populist “bikelash” in Montreal, outlets like QUB make wild claims about “hundreds of thousands of people leaving the city due to bike lanes”.

That’s crazy. The high rents and low vacancy rates show that there’s no lack of demand to live here.

(A lack of housing supply? Yes!)

When I was laid off, I spoke with the others who got the axe with me.

We realized we had all had moments where we pushed back in editorial disagreements with our superiors.

Turns out a culture of layoffs that targets those who are least deferential to authority has the expected impact.
I mean, look, I'm not a reporter, so who am I to talk?

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me

Here’s something that’s really important for everyone to understand.

If we design our cities just for cars, they fail everyone, including drivers.

If we design our cities with many great CHOICES in how to get around, they work better for everyone, including drivers.

Spread the word.

Never forget that the only country in NATO history which triggered NATO article 5 is USA after a bunch of Arab terrorists took down some buildings in New York.

Now when Europe is in existential threat by former Soviets, the USA is throwing us bones and expecting gratitude.

EU need to step up.

I kept wondering why the Liberals wrote a budget that only really seemed designed to appeal to Conservatives, rather than any other party, given there was no way the Conservatives would vote for it.

But given the floor-crosser-hunter strategy from the Liberals, it actually makes sense to ask:

Hint: it’s not the ultra-wealthy.

In fact, it’s clear why someone who still considers himself a
conservative feels at home in this Liberal government:

Zohran Mamdani represents something much bigger than one mayoral race.

He had demonstrated the electability of a kind of politics that is unashamedly progressive, rooted in the needs of the working class, and that is terrifying to the wealth-hoarding billionaires.

That is great news:
