Started prepping a Mothership play-by-post game for two of my friends. Gonna be our first time trying pbp AND Mothership RPG, so it'll be interesting lol. One of them has never played a TTRPG before.

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections

I'm starting to learn GURPS 4e so I can use it as my main system for solo roleplaying and I'm at once incredibly inspired by and extremely terrified of the number of supplemental books available lmfao.
I'm starting with just the Basic Set, but there's so much more out there I want to play with. 😅
