Right now, my child is playing REM's Reckoning. And I'm sure I am the best parent ever.

The nephew's teacher told all the kids to bring in a classic book that they'll be reading and reviewing as a project, then told him about his selection that Dune is not a classic and I have just written my first Strongly Worded Letter of 2025

How about teaching everybody about impoundment, the Constitution, security clearances, illegal access, privacy laws, and the effect on tens of millions of people of his yanking the wiring out of the walls, you feckless twits.

Thinking about how all of the unopened Miller Lite cans at Ueck's statue are going to explode in this cold and how Ueck would probably find it funny.

One last beer shower.

I immediately had a rebuttal for this and realized it was a song from 1970.
We most certainly DID NOT like it this day. There are only a few songs in which a sax solo is acceptable. These songs are "Baker Street", "Rio", "Who Can It Be Now, and "Smooth Operator". Thank you.

You can't trust billionaires.
I was talking with a reporter the other day about this. They asked why I thought guys like Bezos, Soon-Shiong, and Zuckerberg were suddenly so open with their Trumpy politics. I said that I thought it was because Elon Musk showed them that they could and they wouldn't face any real repercussions.
the big tech world has wanted to be as openly ‘anti-woke’ as elon musk has been, they’ve long agree with him but figured social sentiment was firmly against reactionary world views. now that musks gambit paid off, we’re going to be seeing more of this for awhile

I have one suggestion for the feuding "conservatives" Thunderdome.
At least 14 conservative accounts said X had revoked their blue verification badge, cutting them off from a variety of premium features, including the ability to monetize their accounts through subscriptions and advertising revenue-sharing, according to a review conducted by NBC News.
Elon Musk accused of censoring conservatives on X who disagree with his immigration stances
The claims came after Elon Musk was involved in a public feud with some Republicans over immigration.

We were seeing a 98% drop in exposure over on Twitter. The censorship was so extreme we thought it best to start over somewhere else. We chose Bluesky.
