Resigned looking woman stares at us. "The dildo of consequences rarely arrives lubed." A perfect companion to my friend Tobin Elliott’s post that said, "Dear life, could you at least start using lubricant?" If life is fucking you, it generally isn't PLEASANT. Stands to reason if you're about to get fucked by consequences of your own making, & those consequences take the form of a metaphorical… sex toy… that feckin' thing AIN'T gonna be lubed. There. How's YOUR life fuckery going? Mine ain't so swell at present. Don't know if it's the holiday cruds or just my usual MSOC melancholy. Whatever it is, I feel lousy. I did go for a walk/run hybrid today, & while I was DOING it, it was invigorating. But I also took a couple of nasty spills on the icy road, & that sucked ASS... Ugh. I am sore. I suppose I should be grateful I didn't break anything, or tear anything. Just a few bruises; a swollen wrist, a swollen knee. Took a bath, then collapsed in bed for three hours. Lay here posting OFFENSIVE OPINIONS about a dead rich asshole. Well. I assume he was an asshole, per his job & where he worked. For all I know he was a genial guy... who was about to go down for insider trading. You know - a hail fellow well-met who just fucked with people's lives while he cheated so he could make even more money than the obscene amount he ALREADY HAD. What the fuck, man. Oh, well. I guess HIS dildo of consequences arrived BONE DRY, didn't it? Bummer. I am tired. TIRED. Whenever I think about these millionaires & billionaires lately, I think two things - & not in the order I ought to think them. But I'll tell you them in the proper order here: First, nobody should have that much wealth. It's grotesque. And if you DO have that kind of wealth, you should be spending ALL your time using it to try to make the world a better place. Second, any of them could take a MICROSCOPIC FRACTION of their fucking wealth & make every one of my fucking problems disappear. And I find that goddamned infuriating.
