If I started a petition to Parliament requesting them to debate telling Donald Trump to go and do one, do you think I’d get 100k signatures? It’s tempting.

“There are some people who hate London, and hate New York,” Mayor Sadiq Khan told me, on Bloomberg TV. “There's a reason why they demonize London, and now, indeed, New York. Why? Because we are progressive cities. We are liberal cities. We are multicultural cities. And we are incredibly successful.”

This is quite clearly full fat racism and needs to be called out as such by all other political parties and all the media, starting with the BBC. nb the Tories will not call this out as they clearly agree with these abhorrent extremist views.
Reform UK MP Sarah Pochin, “It drives me mad seeing adverts full of black people, full of Asian people, full of anything other than white"

Followed by that time Sarah Pochin said, "My kids say: mum, you're such a moron" 👀

Yes indeed! Why aren’t Chris Mason and other so-called political journalists deluging Fartage with questions about his very obvious ties to the odious Russian regime?
Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

On #BBCQT - Fiona Bruce said that the audience and public didn't want to press Reform UK on their dodgy links to Russia.

I disagree.

RT if you agree it's in the public interest for Reform to explain about their links to Russian money and bribery!

Lucy Connolly was convicted of inciting racial hatred, and her tweet was part of the tinder that lit violence, intimidation, looting, and thuggery across England last year.

The fact Reform conference gave her a standing ovation says everything about that movement.

Why on earth do the Tories want to keep people locked into high energy bills? And, come to that, why is the BBC citing Reform but saying nothing about climate science or renewable alternatives?

Why isn’t Kier Starmer making this speech? Why is it down to the LibDems to fight Fascist Farage and his goons alone?
As we've seen across history, the populist playbook used by Farage is ugly, powerful and incredibly destructive.

We know where it will lead if we don't stop it.

Imagine if people as articulate and intelligent as Alex were on TV making these points in roughly equal measure to those on the other side. Roughly equal. Nothing more than that.
I go. I try. And I will keep trying, even though it feels like a losing battle. Because I remember the whole point of the far-right astroturfing of social media is to make it feel like a losing battle, to make us give up.

Anyway, a few snippets on small boat crossings and immigration.

At least 365 arrests at Palestine Action ban protest

This is insane. No Labour government, however right wing it may be, should be shutting down freedom of speech in this way. This belittles and demeans terrorism legislation which is (rightly) designed to deal with threats to life.

Ed Davey: "BBC’s Farage obsession is a joke. Reform has 4 MPs, Lib Dems have 72 - yet get sidelined. This isn’t journalism, it’s free PR. If the Beeb’s chasing shock value over vote count, just admit it and drop the "balanced" act."

I totally respect George Monbiot and all his reporting, particularly of environmental outrages, but this seems extreme. If true it is prima facie evidence not only of corporate capture, but of indifference, if not outright hostility, to closer ties with the EU.
