The Red Army captured so many Panzerfausts that they could be issued to special tank destroyer units. #OTD in 1945 the 1st Guards Tank Army composed its experience in forming these units and shared it with the rest of the Red Army. #history #WW2 #WWII

A Medium Tank M3 with registration number W-304293 was shipped to the NIBT Proving Grounds for trials #OTD in 1942. The Soviets were shocked by the size of the tank, as it turned out that 10 infantrymen could fit inside it in addition to the crew. #tanks #history #WW2 #WWII
