I get that people are hesitant to believe that what we are watching is fascism. I know it sounds like I’m overstating it. But this kind of suppression of dissent where the government can just sweep up anyone for speech it doesn’t like is clearly fascism. It’s terrifying.

Unless I missed something, not a single mention of transgender folks in the Democratic response. I get that trans folks are a small part of the population but when there’s a coordinated effort to erase their existence, I think more people should speak up.
