I had multiple school lessons and homework about reading maps and planning road trips.
We bought road atlases and learned how to read maps.
I STILL have road atlases because they're really helpful in planning road trips.
Now excuse me, I have to take my Metamucil and rub Icy Hot on my joints.

Never really thought about it but there is a MapQuest microgeneration (of which I am a member): I remember navigating with the help of printed-out MapQuest directions, but I really truly don't know how people got to new places before that.

I don't want to complain because I am safe and surrounded by people who love me. But it is really really hard to fully be open with gender when my mother and aunt are actively helping pass anti-trans legislation. It just makes me sad and feel icky.
