I held off a day because I'm honestly overwhelmed by this.
My biggest regret from my time on council is how this was handled, and seeing the building sit idle and deteriorate has been a constant reminder. Kulick is more than a building; it holds history, memory, and community sentiment.

TL;DR: Oakland County is more than doubling the fees it charges #Ferndale and other cities for property assessments—jumping from $17.98 to $30.86 per parcel. Ferndale’s annual cost will rise by over $100,000, with no added services. Commissioner Charlie Cavell voted no on this increase—thank him.
