A year ago today, a jury of everyday New Yorkers concluded Donald Trump was a criminal.

They looked at the evidence, pondered for a while, & reasoned that he — without a doubt — faked documents to hide a sexual affair from voters in 2016.

I was in the courtroom then. He's in the White House now.

We’ll have estimates later today, but small towns are really showing up. You can tell, it’s catching local media off guard. Reporters are like, “Wow, we didn’t expect this kind of turnout here.” As for the comments on those stories, ignore the usual MAGA noise.

The contemptable Marco Rubio is asking UKRAINE for concessions, not Russia. Like Churchill asking Charles de Gaulle, "So which parts of France are you willing to give to nice Mr. Hitler to make him leave you alone?"

I'm kidding! In no scenario is the incompetent Marco Rubio Winston Churchill.

There are no "illegal protests" under the First Amendment.

This is just fascism brought to us by an ignorant old man drunk on power.

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.

18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

We made this website to tell our story:

No, the meeting did not go badly for Ukraine. It exposed in the most undeniable, unequivocal way possible the pro-Putin commitments of the president and vice president. That was information Americans and allies needed to have clear before them.

An unelected shadow government is conducting a hostile takeover of the federal government.

DOGE is not a real government agency.
DOGE has no authority to make spending decisions.
DOGE has no authority to shut programs down or to ignore federal law.
DOGE’s conduct cannot be allowed to stand.

Jaw dropping concept-but totally predictable

That FBI agents must sue to protect themselves

*from the president*

and his allies

It’s exactly what you’d expect after he pardoned all the criminals who battered 140 police on January 6

But it doesn’t make it any less disgusting
Strong, accurate, and to the point:

"Plaintiffs reasonably fear that all or parts of this list might be published by allies of President Trump, thus placing themselves and their families in immediate danger of retribution by the now pardoned and at-large Jan. 6 convicted felons."
And it begins.

FBI class action lawsuit against the retaliatory purge.

I always thought Elon Musk was the most dangerous man in America but I viewed him as a danger primarily in terms of his wealth and his disinformation power. I didn't realize he would pose an actual threat to our form of government, our national security, and our most sensitive personal data.
Sheesh.
