Reform-run Council Cancels Christmas... And, at significant cost.

I would say you couldn't make it up. But unfortunately Reform can and did. ~AA

Nigel Farage currently railing against Parliament being full of "professional politicians".

He founded UKIP in 1993 and was first elected as an MEP in 1999, twenty-six years ago. Less than 5% of current MPs (31 to be precise) have a longer career in politics than Farage. ~AA

The nerve of this is simply incredible. Will the right-wing press continue to provide cover?
Really, Reform UK? THIS is what you're going with? That this man, who served as an MEP next to Nigel Farage for years and was made leader of your party in Wales by current deputy, Richard Tice, is just "one of tens of thousands of people Nigel meets on an annual basis"?~AA

So, Sunday Times runs with latest poll showing Farage winning if there was an election now. But makes NO mention of Reform’s collusion with Russia. And this is how democracy gets beaten to death in the dark. Voters are not being told the truth. Reform is given the stage but is NEVER held to account.

Seriously. A one-hour Party Political Broadcast. Followed at the top of the next hour with top story billing and a highlights package.

Exactly how will this be "balanced" across their coverage?

Where is Ofcom? Where is Nandy?
For 56 minutes Sky News and BBC News interrupted everything else and carried a Reform UK feed live, uninterrupted, unchallenged. The stream spluttered, froze, pixelated - dozens of times - still they stuck with it. FOR ONE HOUR.

This is an editorial choice. No other party gets this coverage. ~AA

Catch Eye hack Richard Brooks tonight on ITV1 in The Covid Contracts: Follow the Money.

The documentary tells the story of how some companies with little or no track record in supplying PPE or medical tests were given massive contracts - and made a killing from Covid.

I’ve just realised that I haven’t listened to BBC radio 4 routinely now for years. I stopped the news programmes including the today programme over a year ago when they became unashamed mouthpieces for Farage.

I was a lifelong radio 4 listener. I wonder how many others there are.

I love this concept.

Use solar energy to lift incredibly heavy weights during the day, then drive turbines via the weights dropping during peak times. Apart from maintenance and updating tech it’s essentially free power forever.
Dormant coal mine turns green electricity generator in world-first test
A disused coal mine in Wollongong will be the first test site for a renewable energy company that lowers weights down old mine shafts to spin turbines and create electricity.
