I am middle-aged, female, and retired. Nothing to see here.

It's the 21st century, and I can't believe I have to add this: Also very, very happily married. Unsolicited messages will just get you blocked.

"Pope Leo said Scripture emphasizes the question that will be posed at the end of the world:

'How did you receive the foreigner, did you receive him and welcome him, or not? I think there is a deep reflection that needs to be made about what is happening'..."

Pope Leo calls for ‘deep reflection’ about treatment of detained migrants in U.S.
“Many people who have lived for years and years and years, never causing problems, have been deeply affected by what is going on right now,” Chicago-born pope says.

The majority of Americans are good. We have heart. We have compassion. When we see others struggle, we want to lend a hand.

For too long, we’ve been divided and pitted against each other by those who crave obscene wealth and power.

Let’s change that. One election at a time.

Got off the plane and walked into a drug store in Ottawa and got my COVID vaccine in under 5 minutes. No line up. No appointment. No cost.

Was even asked if I wanted Moderna or Pfizer.

It’s unconscionable that we can’t get this same level of service in Alberta.

Enough is enough. Adelita Grijalva was elected on September 23. The people of Arizona have a right to be represented in Congress.

During today’s pro forma session, when the House is called to order I will seek unanimous consent to insist upon the swearing-in of Adelita Grijalva.

I went to a Cancer Memorial Sculpture Garden in Houston . I saw this sign. Wrecked the experience when I read this. Do they honestly think this means we all have access? Nope.

So, I was in Houston today, and in the Museum District, there are a lot of little parks filled with art. For free, I saw Rodin and Matisse sculptures and many other beautiful things by many talented artists. So wonderful!

Sadly, the brutal underground sport of kitten fighting continues to go on unabated, and remains criminally unreported.

It's National Hispanic Heritage Month. To celebrate, we are featuring artists with Hispanic Heritage for Fine Art Friday. Next up is Humberto Ramos. These six covers, when combined, form one big piece. You can find more of his work here: www.humbertoramos.com

Just thinking about how the right made up an entirely fictional left wing character that resulted in so many bomb threats and the like and nobody will face consequences. But people on the left who accurately clocked the victim’s life work lost jobs.

Hope she's wrong, but her assessment has some logic.

Maybe his widow can finally have the big O now.

FYI: He had no sympathy for people shot to de@+h in life. I honor his attitude after his passing.

This is so important…

Sharon has been tracking license plates on cars driven by ICE agents, and she’s finding they don’t match the vehicles.

In other words, ICE is using secret, illegal tactics—just like we suspected.

REMINDER: the DMV is not a federal agency.

This is horrific.
🚨🚨 Under Trump, 30,000 VA staff will be gone by September—and it’s just the start.

This anti-Veteran administration is gutting the care millions rely on, dismantling VA from the inside out.

Veterans will pay the price — and VoteVets is fighting back.

Remember that when you lay off federal workers, you disproportionately affect our veterans, and you limit vital services everywhere.

Allred: When I hear someone say, “This year you only get one doll instead of five or six for Christmas,” they just have no idea what working families are actually dealing with.

The question isn’t whether you’re getting five or six dolls. The question is whether you’re going to have any at all.
