Every time I hear a politician say that an issue is “dividing” this country they always then come down on the side of the right wing view of it. Just once I’d love to hear someone say “this issue is divisive, which is why I’m making the argument that kindness and compassion is important”

Labour’s new refugee policy one of the most shameful things I’ve heard from a British politician, and that’s in an environment where Nigel Farage & Robert Jenrick exist. Truly repugnant - if this is enacted it will be a lasting stain.

Going to a meeting in a village hall this afternoon; the organiser emailed to let me know about a local road closure, caused by the installing of a toilet in the church & yes, she's 'sorry for the inconvenience'.

Minor but very irritating disability annoyance: why can't people accept/understand that timing is particularly important? If we've agreed not before 9:30, don't email someone's coming at 9:15. 🙃
