Every time I hear a politician say that an issue is “dividing” this country they always then come down on the side of the right wing view of it. Just once I’d love to hear someone say “this issue is divisive, which is why I’m making the argument that kindness and compassion is important”

Labour’s new refugee policy one of the most shameful things I’ve heard from a British politician, and that’s in an environment where Nigel Farage & Robert Jenrick exist. Truly repugnant - if this is enacted it will be a lasting stain.

Minor but very irritating disability annoyance: why can't people accept/understand that timing is particularly important? If we've agreed not before 9:30, don't email someone's coming at 9:15. 🙃

15 years ago today my amazing mother died; she was frail & tired at 86 & it was 'her time'. She showed me so much & we laughed a lot too; always remembered with a smile.
