Almost every line of this story would have been simply unbelievable a few months ago:

—Pioneering cancer researcher;
—*Arrested* at airport in Boston;
—Now indefinite ICE detention in Louisiana;
—"Crime": not declaring some frog-embryo samples for research.

Read it.

Without scientist Kseniia Petrova’s expertise, no one can fully unlock the data’s potential, putting crucial advancements in early cancer detection at risk.

Has Trump said a single word about this?
Two U.S. Servicemembers are dead, one critically injured—killed in a vehicle crash while deployed to the southern border under Trump’s executive order.

Their loss is a tragic reminder of the real risks behind political decisions.

I've been saying it for a little while now and will say it again; we don't have three branches of government right now. We have two real branches (executive and judicial) and a junior varsity branch (legislative) that is acting like it's a smol bean with no power.

THAT is a constitutional crisis.
“We are all afraid,” Murkowski said... “It’s quite a statement. But we are in a time and a place where I certainly have not been here before. And I’ll tell ya, I’m oftentimes very anxious myself about using my voice, because retaliation is real. And that’s not right.” www.adn.com/politics/202...

President Trump says CBS and '60 Minutes' should 'pay a big price' for going after him
Despite the legal battle, “60 Minutes” has been unstinting in its coverage of Trump's administration since he took office for a second term, particularly correspondent Scott Pelley.

This country is becoming unrecognizable. What we’re seeing is state-funded fear. We’ve warned people: keep filming, go live on social media so these moments are documented and shared. This wasn’t a case involving masked ICE agents—but that’s happening too.

I see it. I have lived it. 83 years ago, the U.S. government turned upon a group of its own citizens and residents and sent them to internment camps without due process. I was there among them. American fascism is back. It is here. It is now.

In defiance of the Supreme Court & without any evidence, the White House claims that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a “terrorist,” who was “sent to the right place.”

This is a blatant LIE. He is innocent.

He cannot be allowed to rot in an El Salvadorian jail. He must be brought home.
