Next year, is 2026. 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The MAGAs will absolutely want to own the narrative and define patriotrism in America.

Our Job: Don't let them.

Don't let them define American Values and American Ideals. . .
It's a damn good thing nobody can lie in email, so we can take every email Epstein said at 100% face value. This is why I tell my elderly parents to go ahead and give their bank passwords to that Nigerian Prince, Bill Gates, and Elon Musk.

Nancy Mace keeps insisting Trump "protects" women, even as she voted to release the Epstein files.

This is incoherent, but her nonsense reflects a deeper dilemma facing all Republican women: keeping up their delusions about Trump.

Sorry, Nancy Mace. Donald Trump hasn’t “protected women”

you could fact check this — there aren’t 30 million illegal immigrants and there is no evidence that the presence of an immigrant in say houston has any impact on housing in madison, wisconsin — or you could note straightforwardly that this is just nazi rhetoric
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

You know, I want to say I think it's deliciously ironic that you had Greg Abbott a couple days ago saying he was going to "impose a 100% tariff on any New Yorkers moving to Texas after the election", when it's only Republicans threatening to leave "The People's Socialist Republic of NYC". 😂

I will keep saying this: Trump is murdering innocent people.

Someone might object: "How do you know they are innocent?"

Me: Because, as a matter of law, everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. They never got a trial, and are dead now. so Trump murdered innocent people. QED

Is this a historic first?? Per AP, in the NYC Mayoral election, a coalition of voters that included a minority of Christian and Jewish voters, and majorities of Muslim, Other and None voters outvoted the majority of Christian + Jewish voters.

As an Atheist Humanist, I'm kind of glad to see that religious "others" and "nones" voted overwhelmingly for Mamdani in NYC. . . and I think it's pretty Damning that a majority of Catholics and Plurality of Protestants ACTUALLY voted for a sexual predator instead of a Muslim.

Along with everything else, Trump admitting the shutdown led to a bloodbath for Republicans should at an absolute minimum lead Dem Senators to shelve their apparent plan to prematurely cave. He's admitting he and the GOP are in a weak position, Dems. Exploit that!
Trump to Republican senators: "I thought we'd have a discussion after the press leaves about what last night represented and what we should do about it and also about the shutdown and how that relates to last night. If you read the pollsters, the shutdown was a big factor, negative for Republicans."

I sometimes wonder. . . do EV hating MAGA understand that if 30-50% of global drivers switch to EVs, that gas and diesel will get cheaper for all the other people still driving IC Engine vehicles?

You hated Biden for trying to promote EVs, but he was making gas cheaper for you in the long run.

One of the ways I try to be a good human is by not giving business to New York Times or WaPo. Billionaire owned mouthpieces of oligarchy.

I prefer more independent media like NPR, PBS, The Guardian, ProPublica, and Associated Press.

Will you help me demand an answer from NPR's Public Editor about why NPR is treating the Heritage Foundation as a serious source of expertise, instead of as the Nazi HQ that it actually is?

Pls re-post.

Here's a story where they just quote HF as experts:

If you enjoy someone's content, you've GOT to get used to circulating it.
The point of social media is to be SOCIAL.
It's literally just a 2nd button press; please help artists out by hitting reblog, too! Likes are nice, reblogs get exposure!
Bluesky needs a bit of a culture shift

I'm noticing that engagement has kindof been cratering, but favs haven't. People will fav a post but not comment or repost it, I've noticed this with others as well.

If you like something, spread it! Try commenting to bump it or repost it eh?
