A word….
Can we have a chat? Why, after carefully weighing the options in 2016, and having been initially excited by Senator Bernie Sanders, did I ultimately decide that Secretary Hillary Clinton was the better option? And why do I feel that decision has only been reinforced by subsequent events?

White people need to talk to other white people. It is entirely up to the whites to move the needle on their end.

Let me be clear: racism and antisemitism are rampant on *both* sides of the aisle.

Your twentysomething niece has fallen for the okie doke just as easily as your Boomer uncle.

This is a really bad take. Someone in your position should know better.

Your bias is showing.
I can’t help but think today about how many young people were savaged on social media, branded as anti-semites and abandoned by their schools for daring to call for a ceasefire. I remember saying that it was the first time I can remember that calling for ceasefire was regarded as a hostile demand.

Real allyship doesn’t require you parroting what you heard a Black man or Black woman or Black person say. It requires you thinking about why they said it and thinking about who YOU ARE! knowing your values knowing yourself in ways you have not begun to deconstruct. 9/

As you take in the news each day, bear in mind that breaking our spirits is part of the plan.

Quite frankly: you all need to find some damn grit and dig in. We warned you that things would be worse the second go-round, but I’m seeing people throw up their hands screaming over mild inconveniences.

62 years ago, Dr. King led the March on Washington with giants like John Lewis, Mahalia Jackson, A. Philip Randolph, and so many others.

If you’ve ever wondered what you’d be doing during the Civil Rights Movement, this is your test. (1/2)

White leftists aren’t mad Kamala Harris wrote a book.

They’re mad she sat on Colbert & said “Yall broke it, yall got it, go fix it.”

Kamala won’t be their domestic so they can swoop in and take the credit after she cleaned things up and that’s why they’re really mad.

A good reason not to support BDS.
Another potentially life-changing Israeli discovery: Researchers at the Weizmann Institute of Science have identified specific DNA sequences, known as B2-SINEs, that promote nerve regeneration following injury in mice.

A powerful new report from the Dinah Project confirms what anti-Israel extremists have tried to downplay or outright deny: Hamas' systematic and deliberate use of sexual violence on October 7 as a weapon of war.

Can someone in the legacy media explain what the purpose of "viewed as" is in this headline. The character Shylock was anti-Semitic and the term has always been anti-Semitic.

Is WaPo suggesting there is a different way to "view" it? Are they blind to anti-Semitism? Or sucking up to Trump?

This is the slap back to Stephen Miller’s “arrest everyone” madness. And an admission that Trump is under pressure from multiple industries that rely on migrant workers.

This is huge and important. Keep amplifying the harm done by the Trump/Miller zealous, cruel overreach. Don’t bury this.
BREAKING: The decision suggested that the scale of President Trump’s mass deportation campaign — an issue that is at the heart of his presidency — is hurting industries and constituencies that he does not want to lose.

Wrote this 3 wks ago. If you wanted warning signs of democratic weakness, you had only look to what Black people endure.

Why wasn’t law enforcement brutality, misconduct, & racism part of the daily “democracy” conversation when Black ppl were its routine victims?

Friends, I too am outraged by the Trump administration claiming the mantle of fighting antisemtism to do despicable shit.

But I’m also not thrilled about a feed full of non-Jews proclaiming what they personally think isn’t bigoted against Jews, when a lot of it absolutely is.

Please do better.
