If the province weren't so invested in boosting productivity by normalizing COVID-19, they'd see that more can be gained by not sickening entire workplaces. Promote regular testing & airborne precautions, provide more job-protected leave days so people return to work RAT-. 32/?

When the stakes of going without COVID-19 testing are so high, why should it be singled out for payment? What little the province can save on RATs, we will pay in exponents to expedite waitlists & provide for those who are now permanently disabled from repeated infections. 30/?

2: "Provincially supplied kits do not expire until 2026". Will SARS-CoV-2 have ceased to exist by then? Doubtful. What about the people who had no idea that the distribution program had ended? Stocks have dried up & they've been left with no way to replenish their supply. 20/?

The pandemic has revealed a disturbing number of people in healthcare (especially leadership) are there just because they were good at memorizing stuff, rather than because of any real depth of understanding of health (or empathy for patients).

And now he’s on his 2nd bacterial infection. My blood runs cold worrying about him. And all the other kids & young adults like him. The continuous #Covid19 infections circulating & wreaking havoc on organs & immune systems. What will young lives look like in just a few years from now?

And no, she did not do the test for POTs during that appointment. She did though prescribe him allergy meds for his chronic mucous problem & cream for the psoriasis on his back. Both of which were nonexistent before his #Covid19 infections.

I’m so sorry for all you’ve endured. On top of what must be unimaginable stress of 3 heart surgeries & weeks of recovery, you had to worry about C19. You’re so strong! I’m so glad you were able to protect yourself, but it’s absolutely criminal you weren’t protected by those in charge of your care.
